Property and Right of Way Acquisition Services

ALCOSAN has agreed to undertake significant wastewater infrastructure improvements and system upgrades within its service area. In order to accomplish its goals under this improvement program, known as the Clean Water Plan, ALCOSAN must secure either ownership of or the rights to use certain properties where the planned improvements will be constructed. Keystone Acquisition Services (Keystone) was selected to provide property acquisition and right-of-way services for this plan. As a subconsultant to Keystone, Sci-Tek is providing the following surveying services.
 Establish Survey Control - survey control points for the Ohio and Monongahela Regional Tunnel Corridor

• Property Line Surveys – to form the foundation of the easement exhibits
• Utility Corridor Surveys - survey of existing features including property lines and topography within the corridor to aid in routing, planning and designing of proposed utilities
• ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys - to be performed at all Critical Acquisition Property
• Topographic Surveys - includes details on existing improvements, such as buildings, curbs, shoulders, ramps, sidewalks, islands, pavement, curb inlets, signs, traffic signals, manholes, storm drain inlets, hydrants, valves, vaults, poles and other visible above ground utility appurtenances
• Exhibits - includes property lines, existing easement lines, proposed easement lines, buildings, driveways, and other substantial existing improvements on the properties
