Hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, modeling, and reporting for clients such as:
PENNDOT Widening and reconstruction of heavily traveled urban road in Allegheny County; replacement of bridges in Beaver, Clearfield, Clinton, and Greene counties.
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission Reconstruction of ten miles of roads and two culverts, plus extensions of five culverts.
Port Authority of Allegheny County Reconstruction of the light-rail’s Library Line facility.
West Virginia DOT Analyses of existing and proposed conditions surrounding a new bridge in Wetzel County; replacement of bridges in both Boone and Wetzel counties.
City of Morgantown, West Virginia Floodway analyses and documentation of a proposed marina in a FEMA delineated floodway.
Lighting Design for clients such as:
PENNDOT Reconstruction and rehabilitation of six miles of interstate in Allegheny County including preliminary and final design for three interchanges.
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission Design a section of the Mon-Valley expressway, including two intersections, two tollbooths, and related ramps; conceptual design for the Lafayette Street Extension and interchange, Montgomery County.
Port Authority of Allegheny County, North Shore Connector Design of two intersections and coordination with the existing lighting system.
City of Morgantown, West Virginia Preliminary and final design for the High Street Streetscape Improvement Project.
Geotechnical Engineering:
City of Pittsburgh, North Shore Infrastructure Improvement Project Bridge design for a 145-foot span, multi-lane bridge located in front of Heinz Field adjacent to the Allegheny River.
Allegheny County Foundation studies and designs for numerous bridges within Allegheny County, including subsurface investigations, field and laboratory testing, field instrumentation, and report preparation.
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission Cost-effective maintenance and repair-related engineering designs for the Turnpike mainline, which involved geotechnical, site civil, and limited highway engineering for maintenance facilities, embankment slopes, shoulders, guiderails and signage.
Environmental Assessments:
Port Authority of Allegheny County, Eastern Corridor Transportation Study NEPA Environmental Assessment as part of a study to evaluate various modes of transportation to service Eastern Allegheny County.
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission Environmental assessments in support of renovation of four rest stops, and also for renovations to the Data Center in Harrisburg.
PENNDOT Environmental assessments associated with renovations to the Bettis and Hutchinson Hill bridges in Allegheny County.
