Since its founding in 1996, Sci-Tek has grown rapidly to almost thirty employees and associates having completed more than five hundred projects. Along the way, Sci-Tek has been honored three times as the fastest growing concern of its type in Western Pennsylvania.

• August, 2005
  Sci-Tek named one of the fastest growing companies for 2004 in the Pittsburgh Business Times “Hot 100” ranking of growth firms. Ranked Number 1 among engineering firms.

• August, 2006
  Sci-Tek named one of the fastest growing companies for 2005 in the Pittsburgh Business Times “Hot 100” ranking of growth firms. Ranked Number 1 among engineering firms.

• August, 2007
  Sci-Tek named one of the fastest growing companies for 2006 in the Pittsburgh Business Times “Hot 100” ranking of growth firms. Ranked Number 1 among engineering firms.

• November, 2007
  Charles Toran, Founder and President of Sci-Tek, named Minority Business Person of the Year for 2007 by the US Small Business Administration.
